Hey friend, this is something that bugs almost everyone on Earth - Starting a project with all zeal but can't finish because you grew tired of it halfway. I've been among a company of friends lately and while brainstorming on this issue, I was able to carve out 5 reasons why you get tired of what you do.
Learning a skill or knowing all about a job takes little time but upgrading these skills is continuous.
You grow tired of what you do easily when you do not devise new ways to do it. Monotonous work could be boring and then, the zeal to keep at it just isn't there anymore.
My advice for you? Be dynamic! Do not stay in the same place for long.
Devote time to self development.
It's not all about knowing about what you do, develop yourself.
Take an example from a teacher who refuses to go on a professional training course, such a teacher wouldn't know the best way to carry his students along as the years go by and as such, massive failure from the students causes frustration to set in.
Don't be too busy for your self improvement.
Get trained on what you do, pay for it if need arises.
Plan your day ahead, write your goals and targets per day.
Lack of proper planning makes you more or less like a stray bullet; without direction or purpose, you just jumble through your day and get tired and burnt out in the long run. Please plan your day before you leave home or start your daily activities.
Give yourself an honest review
It will be surprising to find out that you get interested in what you do and not tire out easily when you give yourself a review. Do not wait for compliments all the time from people.
Yes, it's nice when you receive a thumbs-up but what happens when you're lashed out at? Your head droops down?
No, that's not the way to do it.
Give yourself an honest review and whatever way it turns out, be hopeful that you're only in the process to becoming a better version of yourself. The assurance comes because you can be assured that you are a success and you cannot be anything less than that!
You are the gold ready to be refined, washed and revealed to the world.
Give yourself breaks, take leaves from work in an appropriate manner, travel round the world!
The world is bigger than your immediate environment, so why hole up in your house?
Dear, take a tour round the world, get a break from your workplace but do not go on a French leave(lol), take permission from your boss before then, there are a lot of countries waiting to be included in your bucket list. Take pictures of nature, draw, sing, dance, find something relaxing to do.
