Every individual on Earth wishes to grow, everyone wants to have an impact on their world. No one wants to become the underdog and be trampled on for life.
However, talk is cheap, action is required and attitude is important. How did the legends and heroes whom we read about today approach life? They approached life with three main attitudes, I'll be giving an exposé on them now.
1. They were runners
"Runners" in the sense that once they start, they do not stop until they reach their finish line. They do not allow unforeseen accidents to hinder their drive to aim for the finish line. They had a "never-stop-till-death" attitude. They saw challenges as a means for them to burst out beyond their normal capacities and strengthen their stakes and it did yield much increase to them as many legends became legends because of their tenacity.
2. They were soldiers
Have you stepped out with your business and no one patronized you? Have you applied for numerous scholarships and grants and none is forthcoming? Then, don't stop!
Keep applying till you achieve your goals. Let your mantra be to repeat the process until you achieve the desired results keeping in mind to hone your excellence as you go on.
Soldiers grit their teeth in the hardest conditions and move on. In the absence or presence of enough ammunition, a true soldier puts his life on the line for his motherland because they have a passion for it. Your passion is not necessarily what you love to do, instead, it is what you can lay your life down for. Build up the soldier-like passion that remains unmoved no matter the situation.
3. They were farmers
They were ready to open up new potentials and serve as way-makers for their generation and the ones after them. They didn't look for ready-made people or opportunities, instead, they made people ready, and in cases where they were rejected, they opened up opportunities for other people. They tilled and tended to people's needs and did not use and dump people for their selfish interests.
Walking the earth with these attitudes places you on a higher plane than you could think about. Determine to be the runner, the soldier and the farmer that this generation needs.
