My 30-day Experience In The Blogger's Challenge

I had always known that to grow, there are risks I have to take. I knew it wasn't going to be an easy journey either but all of this didn't impede my desire to learn, to grow and to see other people have a change in their personalities. I enrolled for the blogging challenge and my journey started!

It remains vivid in my mind that when I wanted to start this challenge, I told myself that at the end, every human in every sector and from every age group would have benefited and I'm glad I met my expectations!

Starting the challenge and meeting other bloggers was a major drive for me as I wanted to be among one of the consistent ones no matter what it takes. My first task from my coach almost made me back out, It was something I had never done before - Having a topic bank. But then, I realised that if I didn't pass through that one hurdle, I could as well bow out of personal development blogging.

I gritted my teeth and got the task done and before I could have a sigh of relief, another task was down. I tried my best to keep up with the pace of each task and write articles daily as well - It definitely wasn't a stroll through the park.

I gave up at some point, around the 14th, 15th and 16th day. I didn't write any blog articles, but my initial motivation came again, "If I can't do this, then I have no right to be a personal development blogger". I gritted my teeth and made up for the articles I missed. Yes, I wrote those three articles in one day and completed the tasks too.

After those days, I realized it became easier for me to write, I never got stuck or ran out of inspiration. I knew what to write and it was precisely because I had put my all into the challenge. I had carried the challenge like my life depended on it and not like it was just something someone gave me to do.

Having to shuffle blogging with exam preparations wasn't exactly pleasant too but I noticed each one didn't disturb the other. My helping factor? God.

Basically, in this challenge, I have seen myself stretch to the maximum, I have seen my writing skills and choice of vocabulary improve, I have noticed that now, I hear more than I speak because I want to tap from everyone around me. This challenge has helped me hone my ability to comprehend, think and place down my thoughts.

Well, in order not to bore you with my stories, let me stop now. However, if there's any challenge like this happening soon, I'll be sure to be a part of it!

Will you join in too?😍
