3 Keys To Improving The Quality Of Your Life.

There are a lot of things you should get out of life, we make goals, work towards them and achieving them gives a real sense of fulfilment. But what happens when everything doesn't seem as exciting as it was before?

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences."

When you begin to feel those sparks going out then you are due for some changes. Here are some things you could do to improve your quality of life:

1. Develop a new hobby: Having an activity we enjoy outside work brings a lot of joy to our lives. The thrill of learning something new can be really exciting.

Hobbies teach you to be more patient, it open you up to something new. Choosing a hobby might seem a little bit cut-rate as opposed to other things you do, but it shouldn't just be something to pass the time. It could become something that gets your mind working and is very important to have. Hobbies you can engage in include dancing, gardening, cooking, writing, photography and many more!

2. Networking with people: This step is necessary for everyone to make, getting out of your comfort zone to meet with other people who might be completely new to you is scary, trust me not only you feel this way. But you might or definitely will be missing out on really great things. When you talk to people with like minds and interests as yours, there is better insight into things which you think you know, you discover better areas and ways of doing things.

Networking when done right, is mutually beneficial, these connections being built can go further to become lifelong relationships. When networking, there is a level of intentionality that has to be involved, your interests and your needs have to be considered, you don't want to meet people and instead of becoming an improved version of yourself, you become depreciated or develop lower self-esteem.

You also do not want to become more or less a parasite to someone else. Build connections with people who are as intentional about you as you are about them.

3. Journaling: Journaling, how little it may look, or even meaningless, helps a great deal in improving oneself. It doesn't have to be in a designated format, doesn't have to be written or done in a perfect way, it could be just exactly how you want it to be, messy, personal or very detailed about whatever you are writing on. It could be video journaling, making videos about parts of your day, or just saying things you think out loud could increase your emotional wellness more than you could have imagined.

You begin to see clearer pictures of what is actually happening in your life and it helps you make decisions a little bit differently. If you think journaling might be a bit challenging you could join a group or journaling club to keep you accountable as this will help you greatly.

Living life intentionally is key to improving the quality of one's life.
