It is well known and can never be overemphasised that, indeed, there is a place called ‘There’. That place called there is attainable and permit me to say ‘becomeable’.
Allow me to walk you through three key ways to arrive at the place called ‘There’.
1. SEE IT
For you to finally get to the place called ‘there’, you have to see it. You have to move from where you're at currently to seeing where you will eventually be. Make these movements in your imagination, your thoughts, your actions, your words, your habits, your decisions. You have to see yourself as the lawyer, the doctor, the writer, the mentor, the educator and THE-whatever you have chosen to pursue!
You have to envision your dream. Accept your dream to be the owner of major businesses, major banks or major Schools - See it. Let that picture come alive in your heart and accept it. This will in turn, help you make decisions that are valuable, always.
2.STAY WITH IT
This process involves working the work of the place called ‘there’. It might take you days of work, nights with little or no sleep but here's what to do; Believe in your dream until it becomes a reality - Even if you have to believe alone for a while, believe wholeheartedly. Stay with your dreams, protect your dreams, feed your dreams…and dream bigger, dream higher, dream larger.
Export. Expand. Take that next course. Win every time.
Don't let defeat set in. We always win. But do not forget that, for us to win, there was a battle in the first place.
But that's where staying comes in. Be there. Live life and let every moment count before they become memories. Stay with your dreams and stay with them joyfully and with a heart of gratitude.
3. SUCCEED AT IT
Goals have to be achieved, degrees have to be bagged, congratulations have to be heard and victories have to be won. Here, the dream is birthed into reality. A wise man once said to me, “Oluwabukola, those who decide to stand forever will not stand for long.” - This means that in spite of it all, we succeed!
We wear our crowns, win in the dawn, win at dusk.
You deserve it! You're worth the wait! You're worth the wins!
